Sawyer began dance journey at the age of four and has a collective 13 years of training in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theater and Hip Hop techniques. As a former member of the Synergy competition team, she participated in numerous community performances and earned several awards at regional dance competitions. In addition to her competitive experience, Sawyer has participated in masterclasses and summer intensives with talented instructors and choreographers, further expanding her skills and knowledge. She embarked on her dance instruction career in 2018 as an apprentice and has been dedicated to teaching ever since. Sawyer loves choreographing dances across all styles and age groups, using this creative outlet to help individual dancers articulate their emotions and showcase their abilities. She finds great joy in working with children, inspiring a new generation of dancers to embrace their passion and pursue their goals
