Sawyer began dancing at the age of four and has a collective 12 years of training in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theater and Hip Hop techniques. She joined Synergy competition team, where she participated in many community performances as well as received several awards at regional dance competitions. She has also had the opportunity to take several masterclasses and summer intensives with skilled instructors and choreographers, extending her knowledge and skill set. Sawyer began her dance instructing career in 2018 as an apprentice and has been involved in teaching ever since. She loves choreographing dances for all styles and age groups as a way to channel her creativity and find a way to help individual dancers express their emotions and abilities. She greatly enjoys working with children and helping to inspire a new generation of dancers to embrace their passion and reach for their goals.
