Don’t miss Academy of Dance’s dazzling production of “The Wizard of Oz” ballet to be held on Saturday, June 25th and Sunday, June 26th, 2022 at Central Kitsap High School’s beautiful new theatre. This production is filled with all the familiarity of the classic movie including Dorothy (Aubrey Zappen) and her dog Toto (Natalie Peerson) being swept away to Oz where Dorothy offends one witch (Gabi St. Luce) and is befriended by another (Jenna Schmidt). After collecting a trio of unlikely heroes; a scarecrow (Alacyn garber), a Tin Man (Naleah Peerson) and a Cowardly Lion (Emma Spencer) they head off to the Emerald City to meet the all-powerful Wizard of Oz (Mary Branigan) in hopes of helping Dorothy and Toto get back home to Kansas.
